This auction is for one: Presto PopCorn Now continuous hot air popper Vintage 1980 Wow does this device bring back all sorts of fond memories! We had an original one, bought in 1978 I think, but the hot air popcorn fad was raging on, and we killed it as kids. This one was bought in 1980, and was guarded by my mother, always carefully cleaned and put away. But by that time we were kind of over the fad, and it disappeared until just recently. It even comes with the original instruction manual! I also included pictures of it as you would have it broken down for cleaning, to show just how well mom kept it. The cord and plug are still very pliable with no cracks that I can see, the motor and heater element function normally. Popped some corn with it over the past weekend, pretty darn cool! Hardly used, stored carefully for most of that time. Please check out the pictures, I see no major damage, other than what you see on most of these if the hot melt butter tray on top was used. We stopped using it to melt the butter when we saw it discolor, decades ago. Very clean, many of these stopped working because people did not realize the metal funnel cone is removable, and has to be done periodically to clean out any loose husks or kernels.
